Use 100 Years War as Case Study.
1. Students read an article by one author who discusses how 100 Years War has been represented since it occurred. i.e. by Medieval chroniclers and 16th – 20th Century historians.
• In class identify different interpretations and reasons for these. Consider the author (her bias)
2. Show 2 film clips (same scene) of Henry V from 1944 and 1989
• Consider bias and society which produces the scholarship in a class discussion
