The students start the tutorial in the library.
They are divided into groups of 3- 4 and each group is given a copy of a historic document (or translation of one) with a questionnaire sheet. It requires they go to different sections of the library to find sources. Students use library resources and peer reviewed materials only. The students are also guided by their tutor and library staff as to where to find academic materials.
They have the time of the tutorial to answer questions and complete the form and they have to show sources.
